Sinton – Pedro J. Tobar, Jr. passed away May 16, 2018 with his loving family at his side. He was 74.
Pedro was born July 23, 1943 in Sinton, Texas to Tomasa (Jardon) and Pedro C. Tobar, Sr. He was a lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas. Pedro retired from Frito Lay Co.
Pedro was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Pedro Sr. and Tomasa Tobar; and a brother: Ted Tobar.
Survivors include his wife: Eva M. Tobar of Sinton, Texas; sons: Rick Tobar (Marisella) of Calallen, Texas and T.J. Tobar of Metairie, LA; daughters: Lisa Tobar Castillo of Sinton, Texas and Jeanelle T. Orellana (Jose) of Metairie, LA; 8 grandchildren: 1 great-grandchildren; a sister: Maria Figueroa of Corpus Christi, Texas; and a multitude of extended family and friends.
Visitation will begin Friday, May 18, 2018, 6:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A holy rosary will be recited the same evening. Private burial services will be held at a later date.
