Sinton – Pedro F. Saldaña, III passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 07, 2020 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was 48.
Pete was born on December 29, 2020 in Gregory, Texas to Pedro Jr. and Trinidad (Fonseca) Saldana. Pedro F. Saldaña, III was known to his family as “Petey", and known as “Pete” to his friends. Petey was a graduate of Sinton High School who never met a stranger. He bled maroon for the small town “Sinton” that he loved. Petey was a great man who always had a smile on his face. He was dedicated to his family and his community. Petey was a hard worker. He was known to lend a helping hand when needed and was always available when needed the most. Petey lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures…chatting with friends and family, snacking and spending time with his nephews and nieces. Petey will be greatly missed for his sense of humor and concern for others. Petey was a beloved father, son, brother and friend who never be forgotten.
Preceding in death are his father: Pedro Saldana, Jr.; maternal grandparents: Espiridion and Maria Fonseca.
Survivors include his son: Pedro T. Saldana, IV; mother: Trinidad F. Saldana, both from Sinton, Texas; brothers: Benito Saldana and Roy Saldana, both from Corpus Christi, Texas; Abel Saldana (Jessica) from Sinton, Texas; sisters: Mary Gonzales from Woodsboro, Texas; Elizabeth Esparza, Sandra Gonzales (Hector) and Janie Saldana, all from Corpus Christi, Texas; Sonia Hernandez (Dennis) from Sinton, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020 at his home, 12852 County Road 1296 in Sinton, Texas. The family will receive guests all day. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM at his home. All other services will be private.
