Phillip Davis

Taft – Phillip Davis passed away on March 15, 2024.  He was 43.

Phillip was born August 24, 1980 in Gregory, Texas to Norma (Esquivel) and Harvey Esau Davis, Sr. He was a lifelong resident of Taft, Texas. Phillip was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by everyone who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Concepcion Garcia and Carlos Esquivel, Sr.; paternal grandparents: Jessie Mae Davis and Tommy Fred Davis.

Survivors include his parents: Norma and Harvey Davis, Sr.; brothers: Harvey Davis, Jr. (Rita) from Corpus Christi, Texas, David Davis, Sr. (Christy) and Sammy Davis both from Taft, Texas; sister: Debbie Howard (Melvin) from Taft, Texas; nieces and nephews: Desiree Torres, Roland Alvarado, Jr., Kalie Davis, Samantha Davis, Jasmine Davis, Melvin Howard, IV., Karissa Davis, Samari Davis, Jaedin Howard, Josiah Howard, Nya Davis, David Davis, Jr., Mariah Davis and Melaila Howard; 4 great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin Thursday, March 21, 2024, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 22, 2024, 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Taft, Texas. Interment will follow in Palms Memorial Garden, Portland, Texas.
