Ramona Sanchez

Odem – Ramona Sanchez passed away September 30, 2020. She was 53.

Ramona was born on May 10, 1967 in Juan Mendoza, Chihuahua, Mexico to Ramon and Maria (Portillo) Acosta. She was a resident of Odem, Texas for 25 years and formerly a resident of Corpus Christi, Texas. Ramona was a homemaker. Ramona was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding in death is her husband: Eliazar Sanchez; parents: Ramon and Maria Acosta.

Survivors include her sons: Juan Sanchez, Eliazar Sanchez, Jr. (Kierstin Gallegos) and Jose Sanchez all of Odem, Texas; daughters: Blanca Sanchez (Matthew Acosta) of Odem, Texas and Gabriela Sanchez (Justin Ganoe) of Corpus Christi, Texas; 9 grandchildren; brother: Socorro Portillo of Wyoming; sisters: Guadalupe Ramirez (Alvaro) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Soledad Martinez (Melecio) of Corpus Christi, Texas; Maria del Carmen Acosta Portillo of Mexico and Maria del Socorro Acosta of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 5, 2020, 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
