Aransas Pass – Randy Merl Dorris passed away on September 29, 2020. He was 63.

Randy was born on February 13, 1957 in Aransas Pass, Texas to Samuel Edward and Verona Muriel (Speed) Dorris. He was a Police Officer of Port Aransas for 19 years. Randy proudly served our country in the United States Navy, 4 years active and 2 years retired. He then became a Truck Driver for 7 years. Randy was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents: Samuel Edward and Verona Muriel (Speed) Dorris; sister: Vonnie Tanner; brother: Sammy Dorris.

Survivors include his beloved wife: Nancy Lee Dorris of Aransas Pass, Texas; daughter: Tammy Billman (Abe) of Portland, Texas; sons: Billy Dorris (Kristy) of Aransas Pass, Texas; Michael Dorris (Jessica) of Ingleside, Texas; Nathan Dorris of Aransas Pass, Texas; sisters: Judy Meyers of Houston, Texas; Wanda Faukner of Arizona; Evelyn Young of Port Aransas, Texas; Jackie Ross of Port Aransas, Texas.
