Randy Martinez Obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Randy Martinez, on June 25, 2025. Randy was born on August 20, 1965, in Findlay, Ohio, to Florentina (Guzman) and Atanacio Martinez Jr. He was raised in Taft, Texas and is a Taft Greyhound Alumni.
Randy was known for his warmth and kindness. His quick wit and storytelling ability made it easy for him to connect with others. A music enthusiast, he enjoyed a wide variety of genres, including rock, classics, Tejano, and his all-time favorite, The Beatles. He cherished moments spent with his loving wife, Roxana, and their daughter, Mia, whether they were watching movies, exploring attractions, or cheering on Mia at her sports events. As a devoted husband, father, son, brother, relative, and friend, Randy's absence has created a significant void in the lives of his family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know him.
We encourage you to remember Randy not for the way his life concluded, but for the way he lived and the lasting impact he made on those around him. While his physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a source of blessing, and may we honor his legacy of love and compassion in all our endeavors. Randy will be profoundly missed, but he will forever remain in our hearts.
Randy is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife: Roxana Martinez; and their beautiful daughter: Mia Rayen Martinez of Corpus Christi, Texas along with his parents: Atanacio Martinez Jr. and Florentina (Guzman) Martinez of Taft, Texas; his brother: Rene Martinez of Taft, Texas; his sister: Rosie (Chris) Besinaiz of Carrizo Springs, Texas; his brother: Robert Martinez of Taft, Texas; and five cherished nieces and nephews: Israel (Britney) Martinez, Rosemary Martinez, Ray Martinez, Ryan Martinez and December Martinez.
