Aransas Pass – Raul Martinez Davila passed away on August 17, 2023. He was 65.

Raul was born in Aransas Pass on October 9, 1957 to Ramona (Martinez) and Felipe Davila. He was formerly employed as a Shrimper for Yaeman’s Corporation. Raul was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Felipe and Ramona Davila; daughter: Kimberly Davila; brothers: Daniel Davila and Israel “Pune” Davila; brother-in-law: Manuel Moreno.

Survivors include his son: Raul Davila, Jr. (Ashly) from Marshfield, Missouri; daughter: Veronica Ochoa (Danny Flores) from Aransas Pass, Texas; 4 grandchildren: Gavin Davila, Alex Martinez, Andrew Martinez and Anthony Tijerina; brothers: Felipe Davila (Mary) from Houston, Texas, David Davila (Blanca), Ray Davila (Rosa), Raymond Davila, Reuben Davila (Janie), all from Aransas Pass, Texas and Eloy Davila from Dilley, Texas; sisters: Sophia Olivarez (Raymond), Diana Moreno, Brenda Hernandez (Johnny), all from Aransas Pass, Texas and Virginia Corona from Ingleside, Texas.
