Raul Trujillo

Sinton – Raul Trujillo passed away October 22, 2021. He was 68.

Raul was born on July 6, 1953 in Sinton, Texas, to Tomas and Maria Luisa (Garcia) Trujillo. He was a lifelong resident of Sinton. Raul worked as a corrosion engineer for 20 years. He was a beloved father, son, grandfather, brother, and friend. Raul was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Irma Trujillo, of Sinton; sons, Keith Trujillo of Houston, and Bobby Trujillo (Rhonda) of Fulsom, California; daughter, Jessica Trujillo (Lauren) of Bainbridge Island, Washington; and a very loved, special granddaughter, Mia Trujillo; brothers, Tomas Trujillo, III (Ofelia) and Benito Trujillo (Flora) all of Sinton; sisters, Gloria Reyna (Raul) of Seguin, and Delia Trujillo of Sinton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding in death are his parents, Tomas and Maria Trujillo; and brother: Daniel “Chic” Trujillo.

Raul was a quiet man with a gentle spirit and big heart; always quick to lend a helping hand and offer a kind word. He graduated Sinton High School in 1972and a year later, married Irma, his high school sweetheart and love of his life. Raul and Irma made Sinton their home and raised three wonderful children: Keith, Jessica and Bobby. They taught their children the meaning of family and commitment in a loving home. Friends of their children were always welcome and treated as part of the family; and the Class of ’72 still talks about the wonderful gathering organized by Raul and Irma as our gracious hosts.

Special thanks to Father Matias, Dr. Greg Silverman and Dr. William Schaffer for all the care shown to Raul in the last few months of his life.
