Gregory – Raul “Rudy” Ramirez, Sr.  passed away on July 8, 2024. He was 63.

Rudy was born in Sinton, Texas on December 29, 1960 to Juana (Silva) and Jesus Ramirez, Sr. He was a lifelong resident of Gregory. Rudy was a retired construction worker who loved doing crossword puzzles. He also enjoyed spending his free time fishing. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Rudy is preceded in death by his dad: Jesus Ramirez, Sr.

Survivors include his sons: Rudy Ramirez, Jr. (Alisha) from Portland, Texas, Michael Encinia and Nicholas Ramirez both from California; daughters: Priscilla Redding (Corey) from Austin, Texas and Cassandra R. Navarro (Nicholas) from Tennessee; 13 grandchildren; mother: Juana S. Ramirez from Gregory, Texas; brothers: Jesus Ramirez, Jr. (Zonia) from Kinner, Louisiana and Jorge Ramirez (Sonia) from San Antonio, Texas; sisters: Gracie Menchaca (Manuel) and Diana Ramos (Robert) all from Gregory, Texas.

Visitation will begin Monday, July 15, 2024, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass. The Chapel Service will be the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will be celebrated Tuesday, July 16, 2024, 11:00 AM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass. Burial will follow in Gregory Cemetery.
