Sinton – Rebecca Garcia Jefferson passed away August 14, 2023. She was 66.

Rebecca was born August 9, 1957 in Odem, Texas to Julia (Sanchez) and Rogelio Garcia, Sr. Rebecca was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her sons: Anton Jefferson II from Sinton, Texas and Joseph Knight; daughters: Sylvia Gomez, Carrie, Christina and Melanie; 6 grandchildren; brothers: Rogelio Garcia Jr., Rene (Alma) Garcia, Richard (Sandra) Esparza and Danny (Rachel) Garcia; sisters: Elena (Chris) Garcia, Isabel Garcia, Sylvia Garcia, Elva Garcia (Carol Zapata), Isidra Garcia, Maria Isabel (Martin) Carriaga, Julie, Josie, Josefa.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, 10:00AM to 5:00PM, Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton.
