Rebecca was born on August 5, 1966 in Lawrence, Kansas to Edna Mckelvey and Robert Dunaway, Sr. She was a resident of Odem, Texas since 2005. Rebecca was a homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband: Moses Mughal from Odem, Texas; daughter: Ashley Dunaway from Odem, Texas; son: Bradley Dunaway from Odem, Texas; grandson: Jrae Newton; mother: Edna Holder from Alice, Texas; brothers: Robert Dunaway, Jr. from Sandia, Texas and Christopher Dirk from Corpus Christi, Texas; sister: Gwendolyn Dirk.
