Refugio P. "Jay" Rodriguez, Jr.

Corpus Christi – Refugio P. “Jay” Rodriguez, Jr. passed away September 10, 2020. He was 66.

Jay was born on January 24, 1954 in Poteet, Texas to Refugio P., Sr. and Tomasa (Yanez) and Refugio P. Rodriguez, Sr. He was a resident of Corpus Christi since 2004. Jay was a former resident of Robstown, Laredo and Arlington, where his work took him. Jay was a Water Source Specialist. He was a faithful member of St. Peter Prince – The Apostle Church in Calallen where he was Third Degree Knight of Columbus. Jay was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding in death are his parents: Refugio Sr. and Tomasa Rodriguez.

Survivors include his beloved wife: Gracie M. Rodriguez of Corpus Christi; daughters: Stella Rodriguez Arciniega (David) of Corpus Christi and Sara Martinez-Williams (Bryan) of Corpus Christi; granddaughter: Sophia Grace Arciniega; brother: Reynaldo Rodriguez (Christina) of San Antonio; sisters: Rosa R. Uribe of Poteet, Rachel Rodriguez of San Antonio, Rebecca Silvas of Schertz and Rita Davis (Trevor) of San Antonio.

Visitation will begin Saturday, September 12, 2020, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM only at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Prayer Service will be Saturday, September 12, 2020, 7:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton.
