Ricardo "Richard" Molina

Sinton– Ricardo “Richard” Molina passed away June 29, 2022. He was 73.

Richard was born in Sinton, Texas on November 6, 1948. He was a lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas. Richard was a retired Maintenance Supervisor after working 30 years for Lulac Apartments. On his free time, you could catch Richard playing his “macanitas” at the game room. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart and he was Trisha’s biggest fan. Richard was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his son: Ray Molina.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years: Adela Molina from Sinton, Texas; son: Richard “Babo” Molina, Jr. from Sinton, Texas; daughter: Patricia “Trisha” Alvarez (Gil) from Sinton, Texas; grandchildren: Derrik Garcia (Kayla), Erika Clint (Roy “Trey”) and Gil Alvarez, III (Briana); great-grandchildren: Trae Riley Garcia, Taylor Marie Garcia, Aliana Rae Clint, Jayce Ryan Alvarez and Clint Baby; brother: Rosendo Molina (Mary) from Gregory, Texas.

Visitation will begin Friday, July 1, 2022, 12:00 PM-9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Holy Rosary will be held the same evening at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, July 2, 2022, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Sinton. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton
