Richard Lee Graham, 79, of Rockport, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026, in Portland, Texas. He was born on July 10, 1946, in Vernon, Texas, to Artie Mae (Brooks) Graham and Winston Graham.

Richard was a hardworking man who took great pride in what he did. He spent many years working as a pipe fitter and welder and later became the owner of Copperhead Welding, Redman Pawn and Redman Trading Company Antiques and Collectibles. He was known for his skill, determination, and ingenuity—there truly wasn’t much Richard couldn’t fix. If something was broken, he would find a way to make it work, and he rarely met a problem he couldn’t solve.

Richard lived life on his own terms and found joy in the open road. He loved attending motorcycle rallies and was a proud member of the Gypsy Motorcycle Club for 26 years. He also enjoyed camping and fishing, especially when it meant spending time outdoors and unwinding from the day-to-day. Those who knew him will remember his resourcefulness, his independence, and his willingness to lend a helping hand when someone needed it.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Winston and Artie Graham, and his sister, Donna Jean Goodrich.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 32 years, Magdoline Graham of Rockport, Texas; his daughters, Carey McBride (James) and Lisa Gawenis (Steve); his stepsons, Terry Elliott (Michelle), Mitchell Elliott (Monica), and Larry Elliott (Susan); 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister: Karen Thomas (M.A); and his loyal companion, his dog Buddy, who was never far from his side.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Aransas Pass, Texas. A memorial service will follow at 10:00 a.m.
