Robbie Murray Sedtal

Robbie Murray Sedtal, 76, of Beeville, Texas, entered into eternal rest on August 24, 2026 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 27, 1949, in San Antonio, Texas, to Mary Louise and John William Gaines.

Robbie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend. She was a woman who treasured her family and the special relationships she built throughout her life. Her memory will live on through the many people who loved her and the moments they shared together.

Robbie was preceded in death by the love of her life, Robert Murray; her parents, Mary Louise and John William Gaines; and her spouse, Charles Sedtal.

Left to cherish Robbie’s beautiful memory are her sons, James Murray (Wendy) of Poth and Chris Sedtal (Christy),  of Leander; her daughter, Lisa Baker (David) of Skidmore; her grandchildren, Chris Patrova (Ashley), Sydney Beck (Ryan), Bryce Baker, Maci Murray, Ava Murray, Paige Murray, Addison Sedtal, Avery Sedtal, and Ashley Murray; seven great-grandchildren with another on the way; and her dear, best friend, Gloria Campbell of Sinton, Texas.

Robbie’s family and friends will remember her for the love she gave so freely, the memories she created, and the special place she held in the hearts of those around her. Though she will be deeply missed, her love and legacy will continue through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home, followed by interment at Sinton Cemetery in Sinton.
