Aransas Pass – Robert Ray Hodge passed away May 24, 2022. He was 80 years old.

Bob was born on November 20, 1941 in Brackettville, Texas to Nadine (Carter) and Willie Arthur Hodge. Bob lived in Aransas Pass, Texas for most of his life but did reside in Houston, Texas for 15 years. Bob was a Veteran of the United States Navy. After serving in the military, he worked as a mechanic.

He was a beloved father, grandfather; brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife: Mattie Lee Hodge; his parents: Nadine and Willie Hodge.

Survivors include his 4 sons: Bobby Hodge, David Neil Ball from Anahuac, Texas, Kenneth David Ball (Marilyn) from League City, Texas, Paul Richard Ball (Peggy) from Baytown, Texas; 1 daughter: Scarlet Ann Wonders (David) from Anahuac, Texas; numerous grandchildren; 3 brothers: Joe Hodge, Dale Hodge and Dee Hodge all from San Antonio, Texas; 1 sister: Susie Hodge (Berry) from Louisiana.

Burial will be private.
