Robert Lee "Rob" Herron

Rockport – Robert Lee “Rob” Herron passed away September 18, 2020. He was 44.

Robert was born on January 14, 1976 in Taft, Texas to Collins and Frida Jean (Lewis) Herron. He was a resident of Rockport, Texas for most of his life but most recently lived in Taft, Texas. Robert worked as a brick layer and a chef. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father: Collins Herron; grandmother: Alice; great-grandmother: Helen.

Survivors include his wife: Jessie Gail Herron; sons: Nathaniel Hall of Ft. Worth, Texas; DeAndre Herron of Houston, Texas; Mark Cavazos of Victoria, Texas; daughters: Jazlyn Herron of Pennsylvania; Alquedah Herron of Corpus Christi, Texas; step-children: Miguel Gonzales of Taft, Texas; Virginia Gonzales of Rockport, Texas and Aurora Zamudio of Aransas Pass, Texas; 7 grandchildren; 1 grandchild on the way; mother: Frida Jean Herron; brothers: Collins Herron of New Orleans, Louisiana and Curtis Herron of Dallas, Texas; sister: Brittany Lewis of Rockport, Texas; uncle: Leroy Taylor (Nora) of Taft, Texas.
