Sinton – Roger Irwin Jansen passed away May 6, 2021. He was 81.
Roger was born on February 10, 1940 in Iowa to Irvin H. and Ruth (Tracy) Jansen. He was a resident of Sinton for the last 4 years and a former resident of Corpus Christi. Roger worked as a Shift Supervisor at Petro Chemical Plant for Oxy Chem. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend that will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Irvin H. Jansen and Ruth H. Jansen.
Survivors include his loving wife: Mary (Marty) Jansen of Sinton, Texas; son: Roger Brian Jansen (Terri) of Gilbert, Arizona; daughter: Patricia O’Bryant; grandchildren: Stephen, Samantha, Kelly (John), Kristin, Austin (Izzy), Britney and Rhiannon; great-grandchildren: Hadley, Holden, Zayn, Penelope and Emma; sister: Anita Loicano of Martinez, Georgia.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021, 3:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton.
