Aransas Pass – Ronald Gene Shedd passed away on January 27, 2025. He was 66. Ronald was born in Aransas Pass, Texas on December 9, 1958 to Betty Gene (Vickery) and James David Shedd. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents: James David and Betty Shedd; brother: Ricky Iovanna and sister-in-law: Irene Iovanna.

Survivors include his sons: Steven Wayne Shedd (Heather) from Baytown, Texas, Stephen Patrick Shedd from Portland, Oregon and Ronald Gene Shedd II (Nicole) from Beaumont, California; daughter: Jennifer Shedd from Rockport, Texas; grandchildren: Maddix Shedd, Megan Harlow, Jason Drude,  Brooke Noel, Baylee White (Austin Stearns), Tayler White (Brandon), Aiden Whittington, Stephen Whittington and Odin Shedd; great-grandchildren: Riley Garton, Ryan Garton, Reed Garton and Scarlett Sterns; brothers: Darell Shedd (Becky) from Erick, Oklahoma and Gary Shedd (Janet) from Point Comfort, Texas; sister: Peggy Brown (Wayne) from Aransas Pass, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
