Ronald “Ron” Glenn Morgenroth Obituary

Ronald “Ron” Glenn Morgenroth of Sinton, Texas, passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on December 3, 1953, in Irumagawa, Honshu, Japan, Ron spent most of his life in South Texas, spending his formative years in Victoria, Texas, before settling in Sinton, TX, which he called “home” for the last 17 years.

Ron was a dedicated delivery driver who worked through Actfast for Arnold Oil Company in Victoria. With years of experience as a courier, he often shared stories about his travels, cherishing the opportunity to see the country. These journeys were especially meaningful when his daughter, Kristen, accompanied him on cross-country deliveries, creating unforgettable memories together.

When he wasn’t on the road, Ron had a passion for fishing. He loved teaching Suzette and Trey how to fish for specific species, sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport. He could often be found along the waters of the Aransas River, fishing alongside the love of his life, Suzette, and enjoying the peacefulness of the outdoors.

Known for his gentle spirit and unwavering kindness, Ron was a source of calm and warmth to everyone he met. His remarkable ability to connect with animals earned him the nickname “the animal whisperer” among those close to him. A man of humility and sincerity, Ron’s presence had a way of making the world a little brighter for those lucky enough to know him.

One of Ron’s greatest treasures was his grandson, Trey. Not a day went by without Ron mentioning something about Trey or sharing some of his latest accomplishments. He was incredibly proud of the young man Trey is becoming. Ron often spoke about how proud he was to watch Trey develop in the sport of baseball, and he was especially excited about Trey’s rising interest in fishing. He looked forward to watching Trey playing High School baseball.

Ron’s legacy lives on in his grandson, Trey Torres of Victoria, TX; his devoted partner, Suzette Hesseltine of Sinton, TX; his stepson, Hunter Hesseltine (Alexis), and granddaughter, Emery, of Corpus Christi, TX; his brother, Rick Morgenroth of Herrin, IL; his sister, Becky Morgenroth Townsend of Victoria, TX; and the mother of his daughter, Elrose McQueen of Victoria, TX. They will forever carry his gentle spirit and cherished memories in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Toshiko Amemiya Morgenroth, his brothers Jon Morgenroth and Jody Wayne Morgenroth, and his beloved daughter, Kristin Torres.

In accordance with Ron’s wishes, no formal funeral services will be held. His family will honor his memory privately, celebrating a life that brought peace, love, and inspiration to all who knew him.
