Rosa R. Rodriguez

Sinton – Rosa R. Rodriguez passed away February 9, 2020. She was 79.

Rosa was born on September 15, 1940 in Odem, Texas to Severio and Andrea (Frausto) Rosalez. 

Rosa was a resident of Sinton for 40 years and a prior resident of Sheridan, Wyoming .She was a homemaker and employed by Sinton ISD as a Dietitian for Welder Elementary. Rosa was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceeding in death are her sons: Joey Rodriguez and J.R. Rodriguez; parents: Severio and Andrea Rosalez; brothers: Severio Rosalez, Jr.; Kino Rosalez; Jessie Rosalez; Julio Martinez; sister: Juanita Martinez.

Survivors include her husband: Victor O. Rodriguez of Sinton, Texas; sons: Victor Rodriguez, Jr. (Jennifer) of Sheridan, Wyoming; Eddie Rodriguez (Susanna) of Sinton, Texas; Rick Rodriguez (Hope) of Dallas, Texas; Larry Rodriguez and Jerry Rodriguez of Sinton, Texas; daughters: Cookie Ellis of Victoria, Texas; Jolly Rogers (Skip) of Sheridan, Wyoming; Rosie Rodriguez (Leo) Portland, Texas; sisters: Pifania Garcia and Mary Chavez ,both of Sheridan, Wyoming and De Monte Pearson of Denver, Colorado; 30 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2020, 3:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Holy Rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, February 13, 2020, 11:00 AM at Our Lady Guadalupe Church in Sinton. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
