Rudolph "Rudy" E. Vasquez

Ingleside – Rudolph E. “Rudy” Vasquez passed away November 24, 2019. He was 66.

Rudy was born November 4, 1953 in Aransas Pass, Texas to Louis and Frances (Elizondo) Vasquez.  He was a resident of Ingleside, Texas. Rudy was employed as a Supervisor and truck driver.   He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Rudy will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding in death are his parents: Louis and Frances (Elizondo) Vasquez; son: Robert Lee Vasquez; mother-in-law: Felipa Flores; grandmothers: Maria Vasquez and Lupe Maldonado; grandfathers: Gonzalo Elizondo and Louis Vasquez Sr.

Survivors include his wife: Janie Vasquez of Ingleside, Texas; daughter: Amy Burney (Brennon) of Portland, Texas; grandson: Bryson Lee Burney; brother: Raul Vasquez of Ingleside, Texas; sisters: Sylvia Rahal (Hani) of Arizona; Nancy Vasquez of Ingleside, Texas.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2019, 3:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass. A holy rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, November 27, 2019, 2:00 PM at Our Lady of The Assumption Church in Ingleside with Father Patrick as celebrant. Burial will follow in San Ignacio Cemetery, Ingleside.
