Sabrina Salinas Horger Obituary

Sabrina Eva Salinas Horger passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026 in Houston, Texas after a courageous 3-year battle with cancer. Sabrina was surrounded by the family she loved so deeply. She was 48.


Sabrina was born on December 28, 1977 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She spent her life building a home full of love—raising her family in Sinton, Texas. Sabrina later settled in Tomball, Texas, where her warmth and kindness continued to touch everyone around her.


Survivors include her loving parents, Charles and Belinda Salinas; her devoted husband of over 27 years, Jason Horger; her children, Isaiah Salinas (Cynthia), Sydney Whitaker (Trystan) and Frank Horger; and the lights of her life—her grandchildren, Kyler Whitaker, Natalynn Whitaker, Kai Horger, and Carsyn Whitaker. She is also survived by her brother, Joseph Salinas; in-laws, Aimee and Phillip Neal; sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Victor Huerta; and numerous nieces and nephews. 


Sabrina was the heart of her family. She was a loving wife, a devoted and fiercely protective mother. She was a proud and adoring grandmother, a cherished daughter and a loyal friend. Her faith was strong and unwavering, and she carried herself with grace even through life’s hardest moments. Being in her presence brought comfort—you felt seen, loved, and safe.


Family meant everything to Sabrina. She loved fiercely, gave endlessly and always put others before herself. She was known for her boundless love, warmth and nurturing spirit. Sabrina created a home filled with laughter, joy and lasting memories. A steadfast source of strength, wisdom, and encouragement, Sabrina inspired by example through her resilience, patience, kindness and gentle guidance. She cherished family traditions, fostered close bonds across generations, and was a beloved storyteller who shared family history and life lessons. She was always ready with a comforting word, a warm hug and open arms.


Even in her illness, Sabrina showed remarkable courage and faith that inspired all who walked beside her. Her life was a beautiful reflection of love, faith and perseverance. Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her spirit, lessons, and unconditional love will live on through her family and in the countless hearts she touched. Sabrina will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.


Visitation will be held Friday, January 23, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home in Sinton. The Funeral Service will he held the same evening, 6:00 PM at the funeral home. A Graveside Service will be Saturday, January 24, 2026, 11:30 AM at Seaside Memorial Park and Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.


In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made in Sabrina’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
