Sandra C. Belasquez

Sinton – Sandra C. Belasquez passed away on November 30, 2020. She was 76.

Sandra was born on September 8, 1944 in Couch, Texas to Espiridion and Beatrice (Herrera) Cardona. She was born and raised in Kenedy, Texas but was a resident of the St. Paul/Sinton area most of her life. Sandra was a homemaker. She was a talented self-taught carpenter and electrician who built her own home. Sandra was the best baker and cake decorator. She was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness. Sandra was kind, loving and always saw the good in everyone. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Sandra is preceded in death by her husband: Pablo Belasquez; parents: Espiridion and Beatrice Cardona; sister: Juanita Garza; brother: Juan Cardona.

Survivors include her son: Chris Belasquez of Sinton, Texas; daughters: Lillie Belasquez (Kenny Rothlisberger) and Brenda Belasquez all of Sinton, Texas; 8 grandchildren: Christopher Belasquez, Chris Belasquez, Jr. (Kristen), Brydget Belasquez, Estevan Belasquez, Mandy Benavides, Celeste Benavides, Joshua Melendez (Niki) and Krista Gatewood (Daryl); 17 great-grandchildren; brothers: Joe Cardona (Teri) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Mike Cardona of Victoria, Texas.

Visitation will begin Monday, December 7, 2020, 12:00 noon at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. The Funeral Talk will be held Monday, December 7, 2020, 2:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. Burial will be private.
