Santiago Camacho

Rockport – Santiago Tello Camacho passed away January 11, 2023. He was 80.

Santiago was born July 25, 1942 to Salomon and Graciana (Tello) Camacho. He was a resident of Rockport, Texas for 25 years, previously living in Mexico. Santiago was a farmer. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Salomon and Graciana Camacho.

Survivors include his wife: Angela Camacho from Rockport, Texas; 7 sons: Domingo Camacho (Dominga) from Aransas Pass, Texas, Roberto Camacho (Alma), Jose Luis Camacho (Mariola), Noe Camacho (Rosa), Salomon Camacho, Efrain Camacho (Alva) all from Rockport, Texas and Victor Camacho (Reyna) from Houston, Texas; 6 daughters: Ebodia Camacho, Gloria Camacho and Araceli Camacho (Lalo Trujillo), Olga Camacho all from Rockport, Texas, Cristina Camacho (Tony Gonzales) from Arlington, Texas, Lorena Camacho from San Marcos; 3 brothers: Salomon Camacho  (San Juana) and Geronimo Camacho both from Houston, Texas and Francisco Camacho from Mexico; 2 sisters: Lucia Camacho and Marcelina Camacho from Mexico.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, January 18, 2023, 5:00 PM-9:00 PM, Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass. A Holy Rosary will be held the same evening at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 19, 2022, 10:00 AM, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rockport, Texas. Burial will follow in Fulton Cemetery, Rockport.
