Santiago Juan Garcia, Jr. Obituary
Santiago Juan Garcia, Jr., known affectionately to his family as “Junior,” passed away on January 1, 2026 at the age of 45.
Santiago was born on December 9, 1980 to Nora (Garcia) and Santiago Juan Garcia, Sr. He was a longtime resident of Ingleside, Texas and worked as a welder by trade. Santiago was a kind, humble and simple man with the biggest heart. His love for his children and family went beyond measure.
Santiago was the family’s storyteller, known for his captivating narration and ability to bring stories to life. He loved running on the beach, eating healthy and staying focused on fitness. He was an artist, a poet, and the greatest father, son, and brother anyone could ask for. His family finds comfort in knowing he is now reunited with his father, who met him at the gates of heaven with a cup of coffee.
Santiago was preceded in death by his father, Santiago Juan Garcia, Sr.
He is survived by his children, Nathaniel Cole-DeMull Garcia, Lilyanna Rayne Garcia, and Catalina Serene Garcia; his mother, Nora Garcia; brothers Roman Garcia and David Rodriguez; sisters Dinorah Segovia (Andres Segovia) and Rosy Garcia (Esequiel “Cheque” Santellana); nieces Jazmine E. Segovia and Angelina R. Garcia; nephews Juan Antonio Gamez, Jose Gamez, and Angel Garcia; and many extended family members and friends.
