Taft – Santos Fuentes, Jr. passed away September 10, 2021. He was 53.

Santos was born on October 31, 1967 Taft, Texas to Santos, Sr. and Maria Eva (Silvas) Fuentes. He was a lifelong resident of Taft, Texas. Santos was employed by Rodcon Services as a handyman and painter. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Santos is preceded in death by his father: Santos Fuentes, Sr.; brother: Roger Fuentes.

Survivors include his son: Lawrence Fuentes of Houston, Texas; daughters: Leslie Fuentes of Corpus Christi, Texas, Jennifer Fuentes of Corpus Christi, Texas and Claudia Galindo of Taft, Texas; 7 grandchildren; mother: Maria Eva Fuentes of Taft, Texas; brothers: Michael Fuentes of Corpus Christi, Texas, Richard Fuentes (Mary) Taft, Texas and Steven Fuentes (Gemeris) of Taft, Texas; sisters: Sandra Molina (Andres) and Norma Jean Castillo (Daniel) both of Taft, Texas; Numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Visitation will begin Thursday, September 16, 2021, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A graveside service will be held Friday, September 17, 2021, 10:00 AM at Palms Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Portland.
