Steven was born on July 21, 1980 in Fayetteville, NC to Johnny Rogers and Patricia (Nothnagal) Rogers. He was a Foreman in construction.

Preceding in death is his brother: Jacob Rogers.

Survivors include his wife: Kimberly Rogers of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughters: Christina Rogers; Melissa Rogers and Emma Breeden all of Corpus Christi, Texas; sons: Bradlee Rogers and Gregory Rogers both of Corpus Christi, Texas; parents: Johnny Rogers of Pleasanton, Texas and Patricia Rogers of Ingleside on The Bay, Texas
