Art (Papa) and Suzanne met in 1987 and were married in Lake Tahoe on June 5th 1997. They had 32 wonderful years together. The two of them had a very strong bond which was clear for all to see. Their marriage was one of a kind and was full of happy, loving, and fulfilling moments. Papa called Suzanne “Petunia” or “my little Tunie” and she completed him in every way.

Suzanne has four children, whom she loved with all of her heart. She was the sunshine in each one of their lives and her smile lit up the room for all. Suzanne was beautiful inside and out and shared her beauty and love with her children every chance she got to, she also shared that love with each of her grandchildren. Her grandchildren thought the world of Grandma Suzy and are forever thankful for the relationship she had with each of them. She gave them all she had to give and it was a love that could never be replaced.

Suzanne made a lasting impression in so many lives due to her caring and loving nature. She never met a stranger and always had the love and time to give to everyone. She was beyond beautiful and used that beauty to make the lives she touched a little better than they were before. She was the life of the party, and enjoyed the fun life had to offer. She was thoughtful and caring everyday of her life and left her family with that ever-lasting love she gave out so flawlessly. She was the best part of so many people’s lives and an absolute wonderful human being. She will be missed, forever.

Suzanne is preceded by her parents, Vannoy and Lena Mae Gore, her brother, LCdr William “Honey” Gore.

Suzanne is survived by her husband, Arthur Gonzales (79), her sister, Vera Jean Gore Vines, her four children, Donna Marsh (55), Kimberly Jones (53), Melissa Partin (48), and Chance Gonzales (39). Along with 6 grandchildren (1 deceased) and 5 great-grandchildren.
