Tammy Grice Zagorski was called to Heaven, suddenly and unexpectedly, on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Her memory will forever be defined by her overwhelming love, loyalty and kindness.

Born February 5, 1962, in Sinton, TX, she spent her entire life as a proud member of the Sinton community.

Tammy graduated from Sinton High School in 1980, and subsequently worked for the San Patricio County District Clerk and Treasurer for more than 30 years where she built friendships that she carried with her throughout her life. Following her retirement from the county, she found a higher purpose in serving the Lord, as a part-time secretary for First Baptist Church in Sinton.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Tammy, know she was strong, quick-witted, hilarious, compassionate and profoundly generous. She was a source of so much love for her family, friends and pets alike.

Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Wilburn Franklin “Bud” Grice and Virginia Nell “Jenny” Grice, and her great-granddaughter, Austin Williamson.

She is survived by her husband, William “Ski” Zagorski; brother, Troy Grice; sons, Garrett Jacks and his wife, Josephine Jacks, and Dylan Catherman and his wife, Victoria Denny; grandchildren, Cora Jacks, Nola Jacks, Gideon Jacks, and Weston Pope; step-children, William Zagorski, Jr., Anna Allen and her husband, Peter Allen, Sr., John Zagorski and his wife, Kasey Zagorski, and Rebecca Zagorski; step-grandchildren, Catherine Williamson, Ashley Williamson, Peter Allen, Jr., Samantha Allen, Nolan Allen, Ellianna Cecil, James Zagorski, Colvin Zagorski, and Russell Zagorski. She also leaves behind four beloved dogs, Porkchop, P.J., Shelby, and Peaches, and two cats, Charlene and Dottie.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Resthaven Funeral Home on Friday, October 2, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Sinton on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM with burial following at the Sinton Cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made directly to First Baptist Church of Sinton, 320 W. Borden St. Sinton, Texas 78387.
