Theodore J. “TJ” Tobar passed away on August 17, 2026, at the age of 46.

TJ was born on May 8, 1980, in Taft, Texas, to Eva (Moreno) and Pedro Tobar. He will be deeply missed and will forever leave a lasting impression on the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

TJ was preceded in death by his father, Pete Tobar; and his grandparents, Pedro and Tomasa Tobar and Beningo and Jovita Moreno.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Eva Tobar of Sinton, Texas; brother, Ricardo Tobar (Marisella) of Corpus Christi, Texas; sisters, Lisa Castillo (Joey Aceves) of Sinton, Texas, and Jeanelle Tobar Orellana (Jose) of Louisiana; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 24, 2026. The family will receive guests from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM that same evening at the funeral home.
