Timothy Greening, 34, of Rockport, Texas was taken from us in the late hours of December 28th, 2023 in a car accident alongside his beloved mother, Pamela Greening, 70, of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan. They were shortly followed in death by his father, Lee Greening, 71, of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan on January 15th, 2024.
Born on May 16th, 1989, Tim was a younger brother, a doting son, a caring nephew, a devious cousin, a “funcle,” an invaluable engineer, a dynamite Pinochle partner, an adored “work husband,” a husband husband, a dog dad, a friendly neighbor, a freakin’ Eagle Scout, and a real smartass.
He leaves behind his wife Ülkü K Greening, brother Rob (Melissa) Greening, niece, nephews, many aunts and uncles, and all of his 7000 cousins.
He will always be remembered as a hilarious, conspiratorial goofball who we adored and delighted being around. He loved so deeply and always wanted to share that love with everyone. He flew in early for holidays just to spend more time with family. He moved his life to Corpus Christi and called it home because he was able to find a new family there. He was so beloved and invaluable to everyone in his life, even one of North America’s largest engineering companies.
We welcome all to join us at a memorial service for Tim at Resthaven Funeral Home, 1345 S Commercial Street in Aransas Pass, Texas on January 20th from 1-3pm. Funeral services for Pam and Lee will be forthcoming.
The family invites everyone to join us after for food and an appropriate amount of whiskey at Whiskey Palm in Station Mall, 415 S Austin Street Austin, Rockport, Texas. Please join us in raising a glass, sharing a meal, and sharing fond memories together.
