Portland – Timothy Charles Marquis passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026, at the age of 70.

Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Virginia Ruth Mc Guill, Timothy Charles Marquis lived a life rooted in love, creativity, and the simple joys that made every day meaningful. He found peace in tending to his garden, where he patiently cared for each plant and took pride in watching it flourish. Timothy had a creative soul and enjoyed arts and crafts, especially wood burning, turning pieces of wood into lasting works of art with his steady hands and imagination. He was also an avid Star Trek fan, always ready to journey into new worlds and adventures through the stories he loved.

While Timothy enjoyed many hobbies, nothing brought him greater happiness than being surrounded by the people he loved. Time spent with his family was the greatest gift in his life. Whether sharing stories, celebrating life's milestones, or simply enjoying quiet moments together, he treasured every opportunity to make memories with those closest to his heart. His love was constant, his kindness was genuine, and his presence brought comfort to those fortunate enough to know him.

Timothy will be remembered as a devoted father, a proud grandfather and great-grandfather, a beloved brother, and a loyal friend. His gentle spirit, caring heart, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on everyone whose life he touched. Although he will be deeply missed, the love he gave so freely and the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of his family forever.

Timothy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, LaDonna Sue Marquis; his son, Charles Robert Marquis; and his sister, Des Neighes Marquis.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, Christopher Marquis and Daniel Marquis (Annie); his treasured grandchildren, Alyssa Nycole Gallegos, Synjin Marquis, and Torryn Quinn Marquis; his brothers, John Matthew Marquis (Terrie), Ted Marquis, and Father Bill Marquis; his sisters, Mary Michelle Marquis and Laurie Marquis; as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish the time they shared with him.
