Tomas Guerrero

Taft – Tomas Guerrero passed away on January 09, 2022. He was 85.

Tomas was born on June 26, 1936 to Reymundo Guerrero and Francisca (Arriaga) Guerrero in Goliad, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Taft, Texas. Tomas worked as a farmer.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Preceded in death by his parents: Reymundo and Francisca Guerrero; sons: Tomas Guerrero, Jr.; Mando Guerrero; grandchildren: Kristal Pena and Enrique Rodriguez; sisters Chelo Rodriguez and Paula Garcia; brothers: Ray Guerrero and Frank Guerrero.

Survivors include his loving wife: Lupe Guerrero from Taft, Texas; sons: Ramiro Guerrero (Lucy) from Concan, Texas; Richard Guerrero (Brenda Medina) from Crosby, Texas; daughters: Linda Bazan (Mando) from San Antonio, Texas; Imelda Padilla (Joe) from Ingleside, Texas; Alicia Silvas (Rudy) from Corpus Christi, Texas; Angie Rodriguez (Ruben) from Taft, Texas; Anna Silva (Adrian) and Christina Guerrero (Ray Ramirez) both from Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter in law: Sylvia Ybarra from Corpus Christi, Texas;  brothers: Celso Guerrero (Ofelia) from Corpus Christi, Texas; Reymundo Guerrero (Sofia) from Taft, Texas; sisters: Hope Rodriguez (Tony) from Lubbock, Texas; Rosa Gonzales (Ruben) from Pasadena, Texas and Juana Villalobos (Raymond) from Taft, Texas; 28 grandchildren; 108 great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, January 11, 2022, 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Aransas Pass. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening at 7:00 PM in the chapel. The mass will begin at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Ingleside. Burial will follow in San Ignacio Cemetery, Ingleside.
