Trinidad Saldana

Trinidad F. Saldaña passed away April 29, 2022 from a long-term illness.  She was 78 years old.  She was surrounded by love, compassion and caring from her five daughters who stood at her bedside in her last moments of life.  She was born on September 26, 1943 to Espiridion and Maria (Benivamonde) Fonseca.  Trinidad was a lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas.  Trinidad was a homemaker.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her and she will always be remembered by her beautiful smile.

She is preceded in death by her husband Pedro Saldaña, Jr.; parents: Espiridion and Maria Fonseca; sisters:  Anita Roman, Nancy Cortez, Rafaela Munoz, Margarita Serrano, and Beatrice Serrano; brother:  Espiridion Fonseca, Jr.; uncle:  Ruben Gonzalez; son: Pedro Saldaña III; grandchildren: Louis A. Martinez, Jr. and Rose Esther Hernandez.

She is survived by her sons:  Benito Saldaña from Corpus Christi, Texas  and Roy Saldaña  from Sinton, Texas; daughters:  Mary Esparza-Gonzalez (Enrique Perez) from Woodsboro, Texas, Elizabeth Esparza (Hector Beltran), Sandra Gonzalez (Hector), Janie Saldaña all from Corpus Christi, and Sonia Hernandez (Dennis) from Sinton, Texas; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brothers:  Robert Fonseca from Sinton, Texas and Arnulfo Fonseca from Beeville, Texas; and sister Antonia Zuniga (Joe) from Corpus Christi, Texas.
