Obituary

Taft – Trinidad “Trini” Perez Jr. passed away on May 31, 2022. He was 65.

Trini was born on July 11, 1956 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Trinidad and Luz (Cruz) Perez. Although he grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas he spent the last 40 years as a resident of Odem, Texas. Trini worked for Odem ISD in the maintenance department, owned his own business and worked for Walmart. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Trini is preceded in death by a grandchild: Lezette Garcia; and parents: Trinidad “Trini” Sr. and Luz Perez.

Trini is survived by his wife: Yvonne (Gallardo) Perez; sons: Trinidad “Trini” Perez, III from Corpus Christi, Texas,  Alex Perez from Sinton, Texas and Jesse Perez from Odem, Texas; daughter: Maranda Rivera (Esteban) from Odem, Texas; 8 grandchildren; brothers, sisters and  numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 20, 2022, 10:00 AM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton. The Funeral Service will be celebrated the same day Monday, June 20, 2022, 2:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton. Burial will follow in San Pedro Cemetery, Odem.
