Ingleside – Vanessa Haegg passed away on November 8, 2024. She was 62.

Vanessa was born in Orange, California on January 4, 1962 to Delliha Sadonia (Lenon) and Joseph West. Vanessa attended school in Aransas Pass and Houston, Texas. She was a Veteran of Foreign Wars and served in the United States Army overseas. After leaving the military Vanessa returned to Texas where she became a Registered Nurse and retired in 2020. She had a strong passion caring for animals; they somehow always found Vanessa she never had to look for them.       Vanessa was married to her loving husband Thomas for thirty-seven years; he felt like the most fortunate man having her in his life. She was a loving wife, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Vanessa is preceded in death by her parents: Joseph West and Delliha Schwoerer.

Survivors include her loving husband: Thomas Haegg from Ingleside, Texas; brother: Joseph West (Laurie) from Richwood, Ohio and step brother: Jefferey Schwoerer (Amy) from San Angelo, Texas.
