Sinton – William Joe Jones passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026, at the age of 62.

William was born on August 31, 1963, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Cleffie (Butler) and Joe Clyde Jones.

William was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and loyal son whose life was defined by his unwavering love for his family. A true family man through and through, he chose to remain in Sinton so he could care for his mother, a selfless act that reflected the kindness, compassion, and dedication that guided the way he lived his life.

Nothing brought William greater happiness than spending time with the people he loved most. His sons were the center of his world, and he took great pride in watching them grow and supporting them every step of the way. Becoming a grandfather to Bentli brought him tremendous joy, and the love he had for his family was evident in everything he did. He was the kind of man who could always be counted on—steady, dependable, and willing to put the needs of others before his own.

William was preceded in death by his father, Joe Clyde Jones.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Rebecca Jones; his loving sons, Trey Hewitt Jones and William Joe Jones II; his cherished grandchild, Bentli Jones; his mother, Cleffie Jones; and his sisters, Debra Marie Hagan and Candice Butler. He also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.

William's love, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and never forgotten.
