Willie Gonzales, Jr. passed away unexpectedly January 23, 2026. He was 44.

Willie was born September 26, 1981 to Melissa (Munguia) and Willie Gonzales in Taft, Texas. He was a resident of Sinton most recently but spend his youth in West Texas. Willie was the beloved son, grandson, father, brother, uncle and friend who could captivate an audience and demand your attention when telling stories. He was good at everything he set his mind to. Willie will always be remembered as a kind and gentle soul.

Preceding in death are his father, Willie Gonzales, Sr; and grandparents, Noe and Manuela Munguia.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Melissa Gonzales from Sinton, Texas;  daughters, Payton Anton from Tennessee; Darian Gonzales (Jacob Guerrero) from Kingsville; Maya Lee Gonzales and Avery Gonzales, both from Sinton, Texas; grandchildren, Omar Guerrero, Elijah Guerrero, Enzo Guerrero and Kai Anton; siblings, Eric Gonzales (Ruby) and Realynn Balboa, all from Sinton, Texas; Ruby Gonzales (Fernando Saucedo) from Corpus Christi, Texas; Isaac Gonzales, Stephanie Fuentes, Casey Gonzales, Chelsea Gonzales, Ben Gonzales and Joe Gonzales, all from West Texas; the mother of his children, Gladys Lazcano from Sinton, Texas; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 2, 2026, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home in Sinton. Th Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, February 3, 2026, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Sinton. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
