Aransas Pass - Florencio “Nuno” Cruz, Jr passed away on August 24, 2017. He was 50.

Nuno was born in Sinton, Texas on December 17, 1966 to Florencio Sr. and Rosemary (Olivarez) Cruz. He was a lifelong resident of Aransas Pass. Nuno was a self-employed carpenter. 

Preceeding Nuno in death is his father: Florencio Cruz, Sr.

Nuno is survived by his fiancé: Monica Sanchez of Aransas Pass, Texas; his mother: Rosemary Cruz of Corpus Christi, Texas; sons: Florencio Cruz III (Gloria Hernandez) of Rockport, Texas; Tony Montana Edward Cruz of Aransas Pass, Texas; daughters: Rosemary Cruz Metheny (Robert) of Rockport, Texas; Brianna Cruz of Aransas Pass, Texas and Ariel Flores of San Antonio, Texas; stepdaughters: Alexis Sanchez of Aransas Pass, Texas and Stephanie Castro (Noel) of Chicago; brothers: George Cruz of Corpus Christi, Texas and Joe Manuel Cruz of Aransas Pass, Texas; sisters: Terry Cruz and Sally Cruz, both of Aransas Pass, Texas; Cynthia Perez (Mike) and Hope Peralez (Pete), all of Corpus Christi, Texas;  special aunts and uncles; and numerous grandchildren.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, September 5, 2017, 1:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Christian Rites Service and a holy rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Graveside Service will be Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Prairie View Cemetery in Aransas Pass, Texas.
