James Washington Atchley passed away July 31, 2016. He was 90.

James was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on September 7, 1925 to Jim and Dona (Miller) Atchley. James was an iron worker formerly employed with Iron Workers Union. He spent most of his life in Corpus Christi, Texas. James proudly served his country in The United States Navy during WWII.

Preceding James in death are his parents: Jim and Dona Atchley; and sons: William Atchley and Michael Atchley.

Survivors include his son: Gregory Atchley of Orange Grove, Texas; daughter: Susan Cornett (Gary) of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter-in-law: Leta Atchley (Roy Perez) of Sinton, Texas; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside services will be held at The Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 5, 2016 at 10:00 AM.
