Mr. Julius Bray passed away peacefully August 24, 2016. He was 90.

Julius was born in Searcy, Arkansas on December 16, 1925 to John and Zelma Bray. He worked in the oil field more than 50 years. Julius was currently residing in Portland, Texas but lived most of his life in Corpus Christi. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather with a kind spirit.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Florence Bray; a son, Glen Bray; daughters, Loretta Boyd and Norma Beavers; and his parents.

Survivors include sons: Buddy McDougald of Portland, Texas and J.R. Bray (Pat) of Marble Falls, Texas; daughters: Maxine Barnstable (Gary) of Collingsville, Ill and Renie Engel of Chandler, AZ; brother: Adel Bray (Elizabeth) of Mission, Texas; sister: Pearline Holden of Arkansas; 25 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin Sunday, August 28, 2016, 12:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A chapel service will follow, 2:00 PM with Pastor Rick Milby officiating. Burial will follow at Sinton Cemetery, Sinton.
