Sinton – Marcelina “Marcy” Rodriguez passed away October 16, 2016. She was 75.

Marcy was born on April 26, 1941in Sinton, Texas to Porfirio and Carlota (Nava) Orozco.

Marcy was a lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas. She worked as an associate for M.E. Moses Five & Ten Store for 17 years.

Preceding Marcy in death are her parents: Porfirio and Carlota Orozco; brothers: Johnny, Reynaldo and Reymundo; sisters: Aurora Moreno and Delia Rocha.

Survivors include her husband: Joe “Hoover” Rodriguez of Sinton, Texas; sons: Jay Rodriguez (Pat Rodriguez) of Sinton, Texas and Joey Rodriguez (Michelle) of Portland, Texas; daughter: Jennifer Galvan (Eddie) of Sinton, Texas; sister: Porfie Ortiz (Enrique) of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren: Reianna Rodriguez; Destiny Rodriguez; Celeste Rodriguez; Rylan Galvan; Rene Galvan; Autumn Galvan and Roland Galvan; two great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law: Lee Rodriguez (Mickie) of Georgia; Manuel Rodriguez of Kansas and Ramon Rodriguez of Pharr, Texas; sister-in-law: Vicky Crane of Bay City, Texas.

Visitation will begin Friday, October 21, 2016, 1:00 PM, at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton.  A rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 22, 2016, 10:00 AM, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Sinton. Pallbearers will be Jay Rodriguez, Joey Rodriguez, Art Moreno, Andres Moreno, Adrian Moreno and Eddie Galvan. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
