Sinton – Robert “Bob” Walker passed away January 14, 2017.

He was 71.

Bob was born October 5, 1945 in Beeville, Texas to Benjamin Claude and Ola Mae (Borders) Walker. He was a longtime resident of Sinton and former resident of Normana. Bob was a self-employed consultant and gauger. He owned and operated E & R Oil Field, Inc. with his wife, Jan.  

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Ola Mae Walker and a brother, Johnny Walker.

Survivors include Bob’s wife: Jan Walker of Sinton, Texas; sons: Robbie Walker (Wendy) of San Marcos, Texas; Waylon Walker (April) of Schertz, Texas; daughter: Amy Burns (Benny) of Woodsboro, Texas; brothers: Benny Walker, James Walker and Kenneth Walker; sisters: Joyce Freazier, Edith Britt, Ellen Goza, Shirley Sain, Carol Schmidt,  Patsy Ponton, Betty Garza, Dolly Shanklin and Linda Petty; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be Thursday, January 19, 2017, 10:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A private burial will be held in La Rosa Cemetery, Woodsboro, Texas.
