Yolanda M. Lopez

Odem – On April 5, 2024, our Lord decided it was time to bring our Sister home. Yolanda Lopez, 66, was born on July 21, 1957 to Antonio and Aurora Martinez in Gregory, Texas.  She was one of seven children.  September 30, 1978 was one of the most memorable days for Yolanda as she married her husband, Ruben Bilano Lopez.  This year would have been their 46th year wedding anniversary.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Aurora and Antonio Martinez; siblings: Graciela M. Aranda, Esiquel Martinez, Antonio T. Martinez, Jr., and Jose Martinez.

Survivors include her loving husband: Ruben B. Lopez from Odem, Texas; children: Jacob (Valari) Lopez and Ruth Ann Lopez; 6 beloved grandchildren: Jordan Starr-Lopez, Joslyn Nikole Lopez, Cailin Angel Lopez, Current Ruben Lopez, Kadence Marie Fox, Gabrielle Jubilee Hundley; 2 siblings: Alfredo Martinez and Gloria Martinez.

Whether you knew Yolanda as a loving mother, adoring wife, nurturing grandmother, aunt, cousin, most importantly, she was a devoted Sister of Christ. Up until her last days, she never missed an opportunity to meet with the Saints.     

Visitation will begin Friday, April 12, 2024, 10:00 AM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Funeral Service will be held the same day at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in San Pedro Cemetery, Odem.
