Houston – Kevin Joseph Amador, 45, passed away July 3, 2016.

Kevin was born January 24, 1971 to Joe and Pauline (Delgado) Amador in Sinton, Texas.

He was a Project Manager employed by Wood Group. Kevin attended Sinton schools and served his country in the US Army. He was a resident of Houston, Texas and former resident of Corpus Christi and Galveston. Kevin was a loving husband and father. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

Preceding Kevin in death are his maternal grandfather: Eutemio Delgado; and paternal grandparents: Avelino and Santos Amador.

Survivors include his wife: Jessica Powell Amador of Houston, Texas; sons: Ryan and Matthew Amador, both of Kingsville, Texas; a daughter: Emily Amador of Kingsville, Texas; a stepson: Gabriel Garcia of Galveston, Texas; a stepdaughter: Hayley Etheridge of Kingsville, Texas; parents: Joe and Pauline Amador of Sinton, Texas; a brother: JD Amador of Sinton, Texas; a sister: Monica Amador of Sinton, Texas; maternal grandmother: Norma Delgado of Sinton, Texas;  in –laws: David and Pat Knight of Galveston, Texas; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Visitation will begin Thursday, July 7, 2016, 4:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be Friday, July 8, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Sinton. A Church of Christ service will be Friday, July 8, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas. Inurnment date and time to be announced.
