Sinton – Manuel R. Garcia passed away December 11, 2016. He was 68.

Manuel was born in Taft, Texas on May 11, 1948 to Manuel, Jr. and Guadalupe (Ramos) Garcia. He was a resident of Sinton and formerly Orlando, Florida. Manuel was a truck driver for 30 years for the City of Orlando in Florida.

Manuel is preceded in death by his wife: Estella; son: Jose Luis Estrada; parents: Manuel, Jr. and Guadalupe Garcia; brothers: Adan Garcia, Alfredo Garcia, Maximo Garcia and Rodolfo Garcia.

Survivors include his son: Manuel Garcia of San Antonio, TX; daughter: Guadalupe of Florida; brothers: Roy Garcia of Sinton, TX, Eddie Garcia of Sinton, TX, Carlos Garcia of Sinton, TX; sisters: Oralia Salazar of Sinton, TX; Jesusa Ramirez of Falfurrias, TX; aunt: Isabel Garcia Camarillo of Florida; numerous grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, December 13, 2016, 11:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2016, 10:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.

Pallbearers are Adan Garcia, Roy Garcia, Jr., Vincente Garcia, Max Garcia, Manuel Garcia and Roy Garcia.
