It's been almost a year since Marvin's passing. We just heard today, from someone at Home Depot. We are so shocked and heartbroken for ya'll, Patsy, Natalie and Jacob. We were so blessed to have you as neighbors and our children growing up together. Marvin was a very sweet and special man. We never saw him angry or upset. I know you will miss him daily in your lives. God Bless You and you can find comfort in the Lord Jesus. We love ya'll very much. David and Troy Chapman

Patsy,
I'm so sorry to hear this so late. I've thought of you often over the years as have so many others who are just finding out about this. I hope you have loved ones around to comfort you.

My heart goes out to you at this difficult time. May you find comfort from the promises made by our loving Father. Psalms 34:18 says he is near to those broken at heart and saves those crushed in spirit. Revelation 21:4 mentions a time when He will wipe all our tears away and death and sorrow and pain will be no more. May these thoughts from the Bible bring you hope.

My dear Beeville classmate and dear friend, Susie, told me of Marvin's passing. How very sad. Although we had not seen each other in years and years, my memories of Marvin at Jones High were sweet ones. The nicest fella with a ready smile. My condolences to Patsy and his family. Aunt Patsy, Natalie and Jacob -- we are mourning the loss of Uncle Marvin with you. Our hearts ache for you as you grieve. Uncle Marvin was one of a kind and full of fun and laughter. He was always convinced he was Grandma's favorite. He will be missed, but, I am so thankful that one day I will see him again because of his decision as a boy to choose Jesus as his Savior. Love to you all, Dana, Doug, Benjamin and Adyson

I worked with Marvin for 16 years. Always had that cheesy grin. I truly am going to miss running into him at HEB. Patsy, almost every conversation I had with him included you. He will be missed.

It's hard to believe you are gone, Marvin. I'll always remember fishing at Bayside with you and Walton and getting into the bull nettle in Beeville. We had a lot of good times together growing up in the 1960s.

I feel badly that I saw you so little after we matured. You are in a better place now, but no one wanted to lose you so soon.

With greatest love and admiration,
Richard
