I am very sorry for your loss. Although I did not know Rudy, I know how it feels to lose a parent and for that reason I want to extend my sympathy and share a few words of encouragement. When someone you love dies, it leaves an empty spot in your hearts which could never be filled by any other person. Psalm 34:18 says that God cares when we are broken at heart and He saves us when our spirit is crushed. Revelation 21:4 mentions a time when He will wipe away all the tears from our eyes and death will be no more. We can look forward to the time when no one will ever die again. May these thoughts bring you comfort and hope as it has for me. And may your fond memories of your father bring a smile to your face and get you through the tough times.
